Emily Frantz Design is a New York based interior design firm that focuses on hospitality and high-end residential projects including renovations, restorations, and new construction.
We pride ourselves on the individuality of each of our projects, which all begin by listening to the client, the structure, and the space. A firm believer in mixing styles and genres, and drawing heavily from the arts, EFD creates interiors that are unexpected and multidimensional while still evoking a sense of classic, timelessness. Every project is a new canvas on which we can exercise our creativity, often juxtaposing something rare with something familiar or something serene with something bold.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Fiber Science and Apparel Design from Cornell University and a degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design. Prior to her interior design work, Emily worked for Tommy Hilfiger and Phillips-Van Heusen in New York, and at the internationally acclaimed contemporary art gallery, Baldwin Gallery, in Aspen.
Emily began her full-time interior design career at Meg Sharpe Interiors, where she worked on various hospitality and high-end residential projects including Bill’s Food & Drink, Queen of The Night at the Paramount Hotel, and the Shelborne Wyndham Grand in Miami. After several successful years with Meg Sharpe, Emily started her own boutique interior design firm and completed The Monarch, a high-end steakhouse in Aspen, as her first project. She has completed commercial, hospitality and residential projects in New York, Aspen, the Hamptons, Connecticut, and Palm Springs and has staged over $100M in luxury residences for real estate professionals and individuals.
